My role has also included co-authoring the NASAD accreditation report, fiduciary and budget responsibilities, course rotations, graduate and undergraduate advisement, numerous service committees campus-wide, and strategic planning. I’ve created new courses, revised content-specific area curriculum(s), and degree plans to be more efficient and innovative while integrating more connections within their respective areas and actively sought inclusive and diverse collegial partnerships across campus and community. I also serve as faculty advisor to MUD Club.

Coordinator of Art Facilities & Summer Programs, Texas A&M University –Commerce, Commerce, TexasI managed, organized and oversaw all graduate students and undergraduate students and student workers in a productive and professional manner on a daily basis. I served as Graduate Coordinator for the Masters of Arts (MA) program that I designed and co – developed with my Department Head to have a summer semester delivery. I maintained and fabricated all equipment in various studio environments in addition to fiduciary responsibilities including university budgets and obligations. I applied skills, organization and creativity while problem-solving intense creative tasks. I also served as Instructor of Record for various undergraduate and graduate courses for seven years. In addition, I participated in all faculty events and served on several graduate committees, Departmental and University committees. I also acted as faculty advisor for the TAMUC Art Club for 2 years prior to being promoted to faculty where I then created the ceramics MUD Club, which continues to thrive. My eclectic role also advised and mentored diverse Graduate Assistants, Student-Workers, and Work-Study students, in addition curricular advisement, retention and recruitment. I also increased enrollment in my specialty area of Ceramics dramatically.

I oversaw all ceramic warehouse responsibilities, gallery installations, artwork sales and shipping, materials knowledge and sales, professional interactions, and advisements while maintaining a budget and future scheduling/planning. This included managing and controlling a fully dry and chemical stocked laboratory, ordering materials, completing sales, and providing excellent and precise information to clients at a world-class art facility with an emphasis on the ceramic arts.

Online Course Delivery / Development
I am prepared to instruct various studio and lecture-based courses online or face-2-face as needed, and I have actively sought informative and fluid methodologies to facilitate quality instruction. Initially in Spring 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I successfully restructured my Ceramics I, Ceramics II and Three-Dimensional Design & Color Theory courses to be fully online. I continued the following semester with an even more refined approach to online platforms. I am thorough and engaging with my online pedagogical presence, and prepared to alter any courses to this delivery as needed to maintain credibility, validity, innovation, education and the health and safety of students, faculty and staff.
